It has to fulfill the expectations of t he parent company, which is the large national retailer that has taken over its ownership. Due to this change of control, the management regulations have also to be modified. The store was previously opened on Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm, but now the hours have been extended and this has made the number of shifts to increase. The current 20 employees cannot manage to skip over the shifts, which should be covered by 25 employees.The manager has to look for new employees that will be able to share the work and help the business to subscribe out. This is because 10 of the current employees are of average age and the other 10 are still new to the job.
